The URRWMO is proposing an amendment to its watershed management plan. Anyone is welcome to provide comments by emailing [email protected].
The URRWMO is participating in the Rum River One Watershed One Plan development. This plan prioritizes water management work throughout the entire Rum River watershed from Mille Lacs Lake to the Mississippi River. The URRWMO covers only a portion of this area. Through this planning effort we are able to coordinate and collaborate with counties, soil and water conservation districts, and watershed organizations throughout the basin. Upon completion of the plan the State provides grant dollars to implement the highest ranking projects.
